We exist to tell the story of local business. Every city and every town is filled with heroes you’ve never heard of, and we’re not OK with that.

Every month, we feature companies who do things different, really know their stuff, and deliver results every day. 

We’re different too. But how?

1. We only profile local businesses that have been nominated by someone in their community. 

2. Businesses can’t pay to be profiled.

3. We don’t accept paid ads from local businesses. Our advertisers are national companies that can’t influence selection.

4. We research, interview, and fact-check every profile before it’s published.
