For 50 years and 3 generations, my family has been serving the community and we’re just getting started.
I started going out on calls with my father when I was 14. Over the years, he taught me everything I know about business and everything I know about treating people like family.
We started across the border in Juarez, and many of the customers were poor. No matter how big or how small the job was, my father always took his time, answered endless questions, and charged a fair price.
He made everything seem easy, but when I look back now, I realize it was because my grandfather had taught him so well. In all the years we worked together, I’m proud to say I never saw him lose his patience or take a shortcut.
When I was old enough to join the business full-time, I worked as hard as I could to earn my place. I wanted to be the hardest worker, and not just the boss’s son, and that’s something that never changed since day one.
Business was always good, and after Dad retired, I was proud to take over, but I always dreamed about expanding over the border. 12 years ago, after saving my pennies, I took the biggest chance of my life. I picked up my family and bet my life savings that I could build a business in El Paso.
I was relieved when I realized the playbook by grandfather and father wrote all those years ago worked here too. Instead of using cheap solutions and rushing jobs I traded being busy for treating people like family.
And it worked.
When customers call us, we don’t hear the voice of a stranger; we hear a new member of our family. We take the time to understand what’s going on, get right to work, and stay until the problem is solved.
My 2 sons are involved with the business, and that’s something I’m very grateful for. While I don’t know what the future holds, I know we’ve found a home in El Paso, and the future looks bright.
Very bright.
We might not be the biggest or have the fanciest trucks, but if results are what you’re after, I can tell you one thing for sure. There isn’t a better choice for pest control in El Paso.
Sincerely,

Give a local business the gift of the spotlight. Let us know what sets them apart, and we just might feature them in our next edition.

We interview each business owner. We take into account how long they’ve been in business, how much experience they have, what sets them apart, and what customers are saying.
Yes. We keep track of all nominations, but we get so many that there just isn’t a way to feature everyone. If a business gets multiple nominations, we’ll certainly take notice and give them proper consideration.
Just ask. We can send you a beautiful framed copy of your feature that you’d be proud to hang on any wall. Fill out the form above or send an email to
Size doesn’t matter here. Quality is what we’re after. We’re looking for exceptional businesses that go above and beyond serving their community, regardless of their size.
Yes, but it will be tough to get featured. Our judges prefer to see some experience and a proven track record before being recognized
