Dad taught me the business. I’m a 3rd-generation firefighter and 2nd-generation business owner.
If you take a moment to think about it, my Dad had a lot to do with that.
When I was 16, he took a chance and offered me a job, and almost 30 years later, I’m still just as fascinated by the art of solving problems.
A fire is a problem. Bugs are a problem. The fix is different for each one, but at the end of the day, they’re just problems that need fixing.
That’s the real gift I owe Dad for.
Yes, we worked hard. Yes, we showed up on time. Yes, we treated people well, but what we were really doing was fixing problems, and that’s what’s kept me going all these years.
There’s no way I’m losing to a bunch of bugs or animals or whatever. When I show up, I’m there to win. I’m there to solve the problem and make sure they never come back. That’s what makes me tick.
And that’s why my customers keep coming back and bringing their friends and neighbors.
When I see the gimmicks and tricks that pass for good work by some of these larger companies, all I can do is shake my head. I bet I could spend a whole afternoon telling you stories about problems I’ve had to fix after the experts made a mess.
Your home or business means something to you, and my reputation means something to me. I want your business and I want to fix your problems, but ultimately, all that matters is that you’re happy with the results.
Consider this an invitation. There are still people in this business who care about what they’re doing, won’t lie to you, and just show up and get to work.
If that sounds like something you can get behind, then maybe it’s time we met.
Sincerely,

Victor Peschke

Give a local business the gift of the spotlight. Let us know what sets them apart, and we just might feature them in our next edition.

We interview each business owner. We take into account how long they’ve been in business, how much experience they have, what sets them apart, and what customers are saying.
Yes. We keep track of all nominations, but we get so many that there just isn’t a way to feature everyone. If a business gets multiple nominations, we’ll certainly take notice and give them proper consideration.
Just ask. We can send you a beautiful framed copy of your feature that you’d be proud to hang on any wall. Fill out the form above or send an email to
Size doesn’t matter here. Quality is what we’re after. We’re looking for exceptional businesses that go above and beyond serving their community, regardless of their size.
Yes, but it will be tough to get featured. Our judges prefer to see some experience and a proven track record before being recognized
